Game on
The fight for the espresso/coffee market has now become intense. As Starbucks struggles under stormy conditions, McDonald's has decided to expand its service offering at each of its restaurants to serve cappuccinos, lattes and other drinks. All these days, Starbucks had more or less established a monopoly market, but now they have stiff competition from an equivalently strong opponent. Last year alone the shares of Starbucks lost 48%. At the same time share of McDonald's have increased by 33%.
BTW, did you know that McDonald's serve Burrito's for breakfast ? Chipotle's and TacoBell, please wake up!
